That was the rule SO LONG AS YOU DIDN'T USE HIS POWERS! When you created that psyhic assassin to take out Akahito, that upped the TN by 20 (2 for each point of Temporary Fire). Sorry man, you pays your money, you takes your chances!

Hey, the good news is outnumbering an enemy 2 to 1 and losing horribly doesn't surprise me...so there's that, anyways! Can't wait to see the specs on this one. You knew someone was going to use some all powerul, fuck me device...and it looks like we had 2 used against us in this one. I'll spare you my thoughts on that stuff...they are well known by this point.
And just my luck, I trusted Omanu (clever role-playing, by the way Michael...I really bought the subtle hints you dropped to me that he was really a good guy, so you played that very well). And the comments that Rekai would likely not dishonor our arrangement I took as assurances...big mistake, too. Games are hard to play when you can take absolutely nothing for granted, you know. At least it makes these losses easier to swallow, as you feel like they are virtually unavoidable.
I look forward to starting the game over sometime...after I finally learn the rules once and for all.
My strategy from here on...OUTNUMBER ANYONE YOU FIGHT 10 TO 1, KILL EM ALL AND LET THE KAMI SORT THEM OUT!!!! -T.

The real Mori sheet will be going up either later today or tomorrow. Turn sheets back on Monday. I hope no one blew a value over my little joke, I just couldn't help myself. Kudos to Brockman for assist on the idea.

What makes this really funny is that it wouldn't have been all too surprising (in fact, for the moments I thought you may be serious, I wasn't too surprised). Also, I just love making reference to Gaijin and Phoenix, all-powerful, fuck-me devices!  -T.
